How to Merge PDFs on Mobile (Android & iPhone)
Managing documents on a mobile screen can be frustrating. Often, you have three or four separate PDF files—like an application form, an ID copy, and a receipt—that you need to email as a single attachment. Installing a heavy "Scanner App" just for this one task is unnecessary.
Here is how you can merge PDF files directly in your mobile browser using PDF Tools Suite.
Step 1: Open the Merger Tool
Navigate to pdfescape.online on your Chrome or Safari browser. Scroll down to find the "PDF Merger" tool card and tap "Select Tool".
Step 2: Select Your Files
Tap the upload area. Your phone's file picker will open. You can select multiple files at once:
- On Android: Long press the first file, then tap others to select multiple.
- On iOS: Tap "Select" in the top right, choose your files, and tap "Open".
Step 3: Arrange the Order
Once files are loaded, you'll see them listed. If they are in the wrong order (e.g., Page 2 is before Page 1), simply use the "Up" and "Down" arrows next to each file to rearrange them correctly.
Step 4: Merge and Save
Tap the big "Merge PDF" button. The processing happens instantly on your phone. A "Download" button will appear. Tap it, and your new combined PDF will be saved to your "Downloads" or "Files" folder.
Troubleshooting Tips
If the merge fails, it might be due to memory limits on older phones. Try merging 2-3 files at a time instead of 10 at once. Also, ensure your browser has permission to access your file storage.
